Hi everyone! As we are gearing for February and us getting closer and closer to the end of January, how is everyone doing on your New Years goal? Are you crushing them or were you crushing them and then got hit with the life ball? I am on that leg of I am crushing my sub goals to get to my main goals, but at the same time, I am getting hit with the life ball. I was so focused and so determined, but man…I am getting tired y’all! Whew…now if I am being completely honest, I have had one day this week that I felt completely exhausted. I didn’t want to get up because it was too exhausting. All I wanted to do was to lay down, eat, sleep, and then do it all over again. I had no motivation or anything.
Ugh…I hate when that happens because I really don’t like to be lazy AT ALL. I want the house clean, the dishes clean, and my child to eat her dinner. But, I felt defeated in a way that I haven’t in a while. I was doing so good too. Both my husband and I have started on our health journey (well, back up again) with exercising, meal prepping, and eating healthier. I am even looking to go back to school and do what I am most passionate about…teaching the liberal arts (aka theatre, music, and dance teacher or just theatre teacher). However, that day, I just did not want to do anything. Thank goodness for my husband, who is just as supportive and helps in any way that he can, but I still wanted to do it for me…you know?
Anyway, I have felt better though as I am exercising to keep my fibromyalgia at bay. I also want to show my child that when you focus and you have the passion, then everything will fall into place. So, here I am, after that lazy day, and I am BACK working towards my goals of getting fit, budgeting, and going back to school. But, why am I telling you all this? Well, I am here to tell you that you still got this!! Whether you are a mom, dad, grandma, aunt, sister, or just you…I want you to know that you still got this and you still got time to start crushing your goals! There is always a starting a point and it could be now, next month, in the next 3 months, or how ever long until you feel ready, but you will be amazing!
Even if you are in the midst of getting hit with the life ball or you are still crushing your goals…keep going! I am even looking into creating a group where we will share recipes, health/fitness goals, and keep each other motivated. A little happy to end the week and say that you are doing a great job and you are crushing your goals or will crush your goals! We all need that motivation sometimes.
