Hello everyone!
I am so excited to get back into the swing of things and get back to writing. I have been caught up in doing homework, my child’s homework, being a mom, being a wife, being a fur mom, watching Wanda Vision, watching The Golden Girls…it’s pretty much endless. Anyway, I was watching Wanda Vision and the scene came up with the group of ladies and they all chant, “for the children.” It got me thinking about this topic because I have seen a lot of nerd groups for dads, but I haven’t seen a whole lot of nerd groups for moms.
I know that there are a lot of nerd moms out there and I was asking myself, why haven’t I seen a group for nerd moms?? It’s weird, but I feel like there needs to be a group out there for us. Nerd moms need a support group that we can all discuss nerdy things or even mom life, family life, etc. Now, I don’t know why that particular scene made me think that deeply about a nerd mom group, but it did.
So, I think I should start a nerd moms unite group that is a support group for us moms. Ever since I became a mom, I really needed a support group that could relate to me in the areas of creativity, parenting, mental health, etc. However, there were none. It’s amazing to me right now that there is not a support group for us nerd moms and that I never thought of making a group for myself sooner.
